Educational and professional qualifications:

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (Master of Laws, 2013). In 2015 she graduated from the Centre for German Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Faculty of Law at the Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn. She completed a bar training organized by the District Bar Association in Warsaw culminating in a professional examination (2018). Member of the Warsaw Bar Association. In 2023 she graduated from the Lazarski University in Warsaw where she completed postgraduate studies in the field of legislation in practice.

Professional experience:

She specialises in civil law with particular reference to economic law. Since 2010 Emilia has gained her professional experience, inter alia, in a law firm of legal advisor, notary as well as in leading legal offices of attorneys-at-law.

Her previous experience includes comprehensive legal advice to economic entities in respect of corporate law and civil law, as well in English. Emilia also has several years of experience in practice related to law on higher education and science as well as insurance law.

Since 2016 Emilia has cooperated with EBC Solicitors S.A. with its seat in Warsaw, the independent advisory firm, one of the most prosperous among Authorized Advisors in the alternative trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (NewConnect market).

In 2018 she was a member of the team established for organizational issues related to the University of Prison Service, which started to operate on 1 January 2019. Over the last three years she was Head of Legal Department in the University.

Author of several scientific articles on issues related to higher education and Prison Service.

Professional experience of Emilia Witkowska-Grabias comprises: 

• legal services and day-to-day advice on process of introduction of companies to organised trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (NewConnect market);
• legal services related to issuance of securities and debt securities;
• legal support for public companies and shareholders in respect of compliance of information and notification obligations;
• comprehensive advice to commercial partnerships and companies through the drawing up corporate documentation, in particular: draft resolutions for bodies of commercial partnerships and companies as well as partnership agreements or articles of associations;
• handling court proceedings related to commercial law, with particular reference to challenge resolutions of bodies of commercial partnerships and companies;
• advisory and consultancy services connected with intellectual property law, in particular related to providing services for business incubators and startups;
• giving opinions and preparation of commercial agreements, contracts of employment as well as managerial contracts;
• comprehensive advisory and consultancy services for public universities;
• giving opinions and preparation of draft legal acts (laws, regulations);
